Founder of My Mystic Mane. It all started over 10 years ago when I first discovered glitter hair tinsels and feather hair extensions when they were all the rave. Flash forward to today, the trend has come back with a vengeance, and I'm so grateful I am able to turn my hobby & passion into my full time business! As a graduate from The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, I have always been creative with a flair for fashion and all things trendy. Working in the industry since 2007, I have had the opportunity to hone in on my skills and learn what really makes me happy. Over the years, I've realized what makes me happy is working with women of all ages in helping them look & feel their absolute best; whether it is dressing them in a way that builds their confidence, or selling them a product in which I really believed in. This year I took a leap of faith and decided to put my fashion career on hold and put all I have into My Mystic Mane. Now, LET'S GET MYSTIC!
Glitter Hair Tinsels
Glitter Hair Tinsels are attached to the root of your hair with a series of knots. Each tinsel folded in half and 47" long. For thick/coarse hair, I grab 2-5 pieces of hair to tie with the tinsel. For thin/fine hair, I grab 5-7 pieces of hair to tie with the tinsel. These temporary reflective highlights are heat resistant and can be washed, blow-dried, straightened and curled! Depending on your hair and care, they can last anywhere from one week to one month. To remove, grab hold to the root of the hairs the tinsel is attached to, then pull to the end to slip the knot out.
Feather Hair Extensions
Feather Hair Extensions are attached to about 1/4" thick grouping of hair with a silicone be bead which matches the color of your hair. I use premium quality rooster feathers from the USA that range in length from 8-11", sometimes longer. Each feather is totally unique, just like you! They can be attached individually, or my favorite, in a flock of 3. The bead is lined with silicon and clamped to your hair with a pair of plyers. The feathers can stay in as long as you want until you are ready to take them out. They can easily be removed at home with your own pair of plyers by gently squeezing the bead the opposite way in which it's clamped. Simply slide the bead and feathers off your hair and keep them to use again! Like the Glitter Hair Tinsels, the feathers are heat resistant and can be washed, blow-dried, straightened and curled!

Made to order, have fun customizing your very own My Mystic Pony! Available in wavy or straight in different shades and lengths. The pony's featured in the photo above are wavy and 20' long. Extremely soft & versatile, wear them high or low. Attached with a claw clip, these pony's are an awesome way to add length and thickness to your already fabulous mane. Each pony is mystified with glitter hair tinsels in every layer giving you a glamorous glow. Please note, these pony extensions are made with synthetic hair and are NOT heat resistant.
